Step Up Activities for Students
The CAE Step-Up Program is designed as an incentive system for students who excel in the areas of (1) improved behavior in school, CAE Center, and community (2) improved test scores/grades. These activities are sponsored by volunteers.
Piano |
Did you ever reflect how many children who begin at a young age taking piano lessons seldom continue past high school? When these children become adults, many will in time, regret their decision to quit. Many will actually search for a new piano teacher and begin all over again. Piano lessons are supposed to be fun, educating, and inspirational. Piano music is a great way to convey innate creative energy (Paul Tobey). Music lessons improve student behavior. CAE has an experience piano teacher (40 years) who loves children and loves teaching children to play the piano.

Voice |
Some people think that a person can sing, or they cannot. Then, there are those with an innate talent to sing. The purpose of voice lessons is to instruct the student how to sing; how to be the instrument as well as how to use it, so that they can accomplish the best out of what God gave them (Music Perception, 2014). Music lessons improve student behavior.

Horseback Riding |
Horses are good for children. Before your child begins, they will need approved riding helmet, and proper boots. Most garments can be bought used, however the helmet has to be a good fit. The students will have opportunities to earn their riding gear. Most disadvantage youths do not have the opportunity to learn horseback riding.

Tennis Lessons |
Tennis develops sportsmanship, social skills, and motor skills with an opportunity for enjoyment and challenge of the game of tennis for children of all ages. This combination promotes success and the desire to learn and participate in a lifetime sport.
