Four Key Initiatives

Students who reside in communities that are disadvantaged by decades of decline, it takes more than a few well-placed investments to change course. Center for Academic Excellence has a made a long-term commitment to the Lakewood Community and has chosen the following four initiatives.

1. Reduce school dropout rate
2. Improve academic success
3. Reduce out-of-wedlock pregnancy
4. Reduce drug use and gang violence
